You can't walk around Les Sables d'Olonne without passing by Penotte Island, this small district of narrow streets, all adorned with beautiful frescoes and decorations made from shells. Children and parents alike love discovering a new world around every corner. The lighthouse Les Sables d'Olonne, located at the tip of the town, offers an admirable viewpoint. The town center, with its many stores, bars and restaurants, is an attractive destination. These Halles were renovated in the 1900s in keeping with the original architecture, 100 years after their construction. Open Tuesday to Sunday and every day in July and August.
